Frances Nichols
Art of Light & Color

Artist's Background:

After three decades of instructing and motivating high school students in the fine arts, I am enjoying retirement and pursuing my own work in watercolor, pastels and oils while exploring the California coast, the Northern Mojave desert, and the Southern Sierras. Day-trips in the local canyons, camping, and off-roading have provided landscape subject matter that constantly changes with the seasons.
